Set in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station and a 13-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 東山の宿 藤屋 offers air conditioning. This place is located in Gion which is a prime location in Kyoto. The host was incredibly helpful. Upon our arrival, she offered us a lot of resources to navigate around and gave us tips and suggestions on what to visit. We've followed the recommandations and were very pleased with our stay. Additionally, the whole place was very clean and smelled nice.

In the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, close to Shoren-in Temple, Azukiya features a garden and a washing machine. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. Our quick two day trip to Kyoto was excellent and it was made perfect with our stay at Azukiya. When planning this last minute trip I was surprised that this B&B was available. The pictures and description on the site was exactly what we got. It was just PERFECT and gave us the Japanese experience. Our host was the sweetest and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. There are add-ons if you stay like bike rentals and breakfast but we didn't take advantage of it but we could smell her cooking every morning and it smelled AWESOME. We wish we would have taken advantage of that. The location was perfect for us. It was far enough away from the city center for us and in walking distance to the places we wanted to visit. It was also very close to the subway that we used to start our trek back home. All in all, this place was everything we expected and even more. We hope to visit again in the near future.

六根ゲストハウス Rokkon guest house features accommodation located less than 1 km from the centre of Kyoto and offers a garden and a terrace. We had the first floor room with the garden view. It was amazing, and the Kayoko was an amazing host that ensured our stay was top notch. Her breakfasts were exciting as they were made with care and helps you start your day. Best stay we have ever had, and we travel a lot ☺️

Located in the centre of Kyoto, 500 metres from Kyoto International Manga Museum and 1.9 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall, Guesthouse Raku offers free WiFi and air conditioning. Was very spacious for our family of 5. Had everything we needed. Short walk to a Metro station and bus stop - so easy to get around. Nice and clean. Staff were lovely and they were happy to store our luggage on checkout day as we had things booked in before our train out of Kyoto. Would definitely book this again if I travel back to Kyoto.

Set in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station and 1.5 km from the centre, Woman Only Guesthouse Nanohana (Female only) offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a shared lounge. My 13 year old daughter and I stayed in a double room for 3 nights while we explored Kyoto. We both felt at home immediately. The common space was welcoming and enjoyable to hang out in, our beds were comfortable, and the shared bathroom and shower were clean and comfortable. I’m not sure if it’s always this way, but the other guests were quiet and polite and respectful. Wish we could have stayed here longer!
