Facing the seafront in Bunaken, Sunset Guest House & Bar has a private beach area and a bar. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. this homestay was really really nice. the food 3x a day (7-9am, 12.30pm, 7.30pm) is soooo good. best food i had in indonesia, and different meals each time. Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

He is very friendly, like Mamalis and Papasem, whom you can talk to in Indonesian and through translation apps.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Talaga Tomohon Home Stay and Fishing Pond is located in Tomohon, 26 km from Manado Harbor and 5.4 km from Mount Lokon. This place is amazing. The best part is definitely the location - it's completely tucked away in nature and you get the most beautiful view over Mount Lokon and the fishing pond/garden. Yet, you are close by the town still and everything you need (including cafes and restaurants) is within walking distance. The other part that makes this place amazing is the staff. They are so so friendly and willing to help you with anything! Will definitely stay here again!!

Situated in Likupang in the North Sulawesi region, Pondok Wisata Noah has a terrace and mountain views. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation offers a balcony. You are really lucky if you can stay at Pondok Noah. Rein and Martha are such lovely people with such a big hearth for their guests who become friends. Likupang area is great. The jungle style bamboo is very cute (cold shower totally fine), yammi local food. This place you should not miss out! Best wishes
