Well located near Blue Shark, cheapest diving center, the rooms are comfortable, best for we are in Indonesia and great quantity, and the host are just amazing. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Our guide was very helpful and easily organised by the resort. We didn’t want to leave!

The host Mamalis made amazing varied food, some of the best we’ve had in Indonesia. Papa Sem has a boat for snorkeling and dolphin tours. The atmosphere is calm, close to the pier and two diving schools. Communication in English is done through Stefen, who runs a nearby homestay. He is very friendly, like Mamalis and Papasem, whom you can talk to in Indonesian and through translation apps.

HEINER HOMESTAY menawarkan akomodasi dengan area pantai pribadi di Bunaken. It has been a pleasure to stay at Olga and Ope's house. They are wonderful people who have made us feel at home. They are very fun and we spent sometime with them talking and laughing. The room was good and the food she made for us was very good and with variety. They helped us with everything we needed. Ope organised the dolphin tour and it was amazing. We saw lots of dolphins but not only this! After, he drove us to different spots to snorkeling and we saw lots of coral, fishes and turtles. We wanted to rent motorbike, and he was very helpful and in less than 10 min we had them. Olga, is not only an amazing cooker, she also can give you a massage to relax and she is very good. We are extremely happy to have spent there our 5 days in Bunaken.

We had a great stay with Naca and his husband. They help us with everything, we arrive to Manado the independence day of Indonesia and there wasn't boats to Bunaken. We contact them and they get a private boat for us(not expensive). When we arrive to the island she was waiting for us on the pier. The room is a really cute and clean bungalow 1min walking from the sea. Get the pack of food with her, it's 150k per person, 3 meals and each meal with 3-4 different dishes. We try other places and the food wasn't even close to the food that she prepare( proper Indonesian food, not for tourist). Thanks for this amazing days, we will be back for sure!

You are really lucky if you can stay at Pondok Noah. Rein and Martha are such lovely people with such a big hearth for their guests who become friends. Likupang area is great. The jungle style bamboo is very cute (cold shower totally fine), yammi local food. This place you should not miss out! Best wishes
