Sunset Guest House & Bar snýr að sjávarbakkanum í Bunaken og býður upp á einkastrandsvæði og bar. Það er sérinngangur á gistihúsinu til aukinna þæginda fyrir þá sem dvelja á staðnum. this homestay was really really nice. the food 3x a day (7-9am, 12.30pm, 7.30pm) is soooo good. best food i had in indonesia, and different meals each time. Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

New Family Homestay er nýenduruppgerð heimagisting í Rinondoran þar sem gestir geta nýtt sér garðinn og sameiginlegu setustofuna. I had an amazing stay here. The property is beautiful with plenty of place to sit and relax; the room is really spacious and good AC; and above all, the staff is amazing! They are really helpful and kind. They even took me to harvest mangoes from the trees, which I then ate the next morning for breakfast. The location is right next to the entrance of Tangkoko, so really ideal too. I'd highly recommend booking a guide through them as well - mine was amazing and we really went into the forest and saw so many different animals! Overall - amazing experience :)

MAMALIS HOMESTAY er gististaður í Manado, 700 metra frá Pangalisang-ströndinni og 1,2 km frá Liang-ströndinni. Boðið er upp á sjávarútsýni. Two lovely adjacent bungalows in front of the beach in the village with a shared porch with a dining table and relax chairs. The host Mamalis made amazing varied food, some of the best we’ve had in Indonesia. Papa Sem has a boat for snorkeling and dolphin tours. The atmosphere is calm, close to the pier and two diving schools. Communication in English is done through Stefen, who runs a nearby homestay. He is very friendly, like Mamalis and Papasem, whom you can talk to in Indonesian and through translation apps.

There is just one room, but it is much nicer than the rooms my friends rented next door which was twice the price. If you want a cozy beautiful place to stay, and can get your meals and activities on your own, this is the best place

This homestay is unique in many forms: the owner Steven contacted me a few days before my arrival to answer all my questions, which was a solo female traveller very helpful. He organised me a taxi and boat from Manado to come to Bunaken and back. Through this i could catch directly my flight. Steven and Misi were always helping me with any situation coming up and I had the feeling I could always ask them anything (i had a difficult situation in the middle). The prices were always transparent and fair. They also helped me to find a very good diving school and helped me planning my snorkeling trips (they have a lot of contacts). Both are very kind, warm and open. They even invited me to celebrate New Years Eve with them and their friends. On my last night we had a small farewell party to which Steven invited some friends over to play music! The room is very clean and comfortable. In the whole house I always had perfect and fast Wifi (didn't expect it on an Island:)). The room had a fan and as an add-on AC. The food is cooked fresh, delicious and a lot. Dietary requests are taken serious (as for me i dont like fish and love Tempeh :)). I also rented a Scooter from them which had a very high quality! I am super happy and grateful I stayed at El Homestay and I am already planning to come back:). I honestly fell in love with this family. If you want to have homestay which feels like home and get to know the village of Bunaken and the culture you should definetely stay at El Homestay!

Talaga Tomohon Home Stay and Fishing Pond er staðsett í Tomohon, 26 km frá Manado-höfninni og 5,4 km frá Lokon-fjallinu. Boðið er upp á garð og fjallaútsýni. Amazing experience, kind staff, very good traditional breakfast and fun tours.

Pondok Wisata Noah er staðsett í Likupang á North Sulawesi-svæðinu og er með verönd og fjallaútsýni. Gistirýmið er með svalir og útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. You are really lucky if you can stay at Pondok Noah. Rein and Martha are such lovely people with such a big hearth for their guests who become friends. Likupang area is great. The jungle style bamboo is very cute (cold shower totally fine), yammi local food. This place you should not miss out! Best wishes

Everything was very good: the price, the food, the organization... Franky told me, very sad, that the couple who spent only one night had given him a bad comment and that it was a misunderstanding and certain tour arrangements due to bad weather. I honestly think that Franky organizes everything very well.
