Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

The atmosphere is calm, close to the pier and two diving schools. Communication in English is done through Stefen, who runs a nearby homestay. He is very friendly, like Mamalis and Papasem, whom you can talk to in Indonesian and through translation apps.

Talaga Tomohon Home Stay and Fishing Pond ligger i Tomohon, 26 km fra Manado Havn og 5,4 km fra Mount Lokon. Der er have og bjergudsigt. This place is amazing. The best part is definitely the location - it's completely tucked away in nature and you get the most beautiful view over Mount Lokon and the fishing pond/garden. Yet, you are close by the town still and everything you need (including cafes and restaurants) is within walking distance. The other part that makes this place amazing is the staff. They are so so friendly and willing to help you with anything! Will definitely stay here again!!
