What we liked the most about our stay was the Cretan hospitality of the staff, which is very warm, welcoming and always willing to help. We will definitely stay here again, when we are back in Chania.

Air conditioning and also a washing machine which was a huge bonus as had been travelling for 14 days prior. The owner was so very helpful and kind and let us keep luggage and use room until later as had a late flight. Would highly recommend and definitely go back if visiting Chania again.

The location was in a typical village setting, with locals sitting outside and friendly. I echo everything else that is written here in the reviews.
The flat was spotless and well equipped. Great views of the Mediterranean. We had dinner on the balcony every night. Lovely host family who could not have been more helpful.
Great hostel, situated at 8 min walking distance for the center & beach and just across the Ktel bus stop. Spacious common areas. AC in the room and beds with a curtain. Enough toilets. Nice clean pool with lounge beds. They organize evening activities for a good hostel vibe. Free cup of coffee in the morning.
The hotel is in the perfect area. Handy for the Venetian harbour it is also around the corner from a scenic bay full of bars and restaurants where the locals eat. The fantastic Saturday market is literally outside the door. Our room was spotless and we were provided with lots of thoughtful extras for our comfort, including snacks and drinks, making it extra good value. Wonderful views out to sea from the immaculate room. Manolis is a lovely host and was very helpful. Don't hesitate to book!
We really had a great time. We were 3 families, staying in the Sand & Sone Villa. The villa has just been refurbished, very cozy and clean. Maria is a great host and also provided us with plenty of suggestions to take the most of the island. Notably, the village of Kournas where the Villa is located, is surprisingly lively with a cople of excellent restaurants and bar open till late at night. the Greek locals atmosphere. Totally recommended
Great place to stay in Rethymno. We felt like locals. Very nice neighbourhood. Amazing and lovely Host with very good recommendation for breakfast and dinner. The roof top with the Jacuzzi which has massage jets is amazing. Would come back for a stay in Rethymno.
The flat is in a quiet district ten minutes walk from the centre of town and is fully equipped. Our host, Maria, was there to give us our keys, but that took a bit of arranging, since our bus from Chania was an hour late. The flat is obviously lived in by real people when it's not being rented out and there were many things which made one feel as if one were living in someone's private home.
