Situated in Kolymvari, in a historic building, 1.1 km from Rapaniana Beach, Sclopa The Laography Project is a recently renovated guest house with pool with a view and garden. Stelios (the person who runs Slopa) is an absolute delight - he came and picked us up from the bus station, made us snacks, and generally was the best host ever. The room was large and comfortable, with a great shower and aircon, and the pool outside was amazing. There was a little walk down to the centre, but totally manageable, and being in the car-free top part of the village was brilliant.

My husband and I stayed here for our elopement in Crete and post-ceremony honeymoon. Amazing boutique hotel with great location on beautiful quiet street in Chania's old town. You would never guess that you are a minutes walk from the bustling action of the harbor. Our room was spacious and did not feel cramped with all of the stuff we brought for our two week trip and our wedding ceremony clothes. Georgia, the hotel manager (I'm not sure if she is the owner as well) was there to meet us when we checked in and went above and beyond to ensure we were perfectly comfortable throughout our stay. She even worked with the cleaning staff to arrange our room so it had rose pedals and balloons in honor of our wedding one of the days when we were out and personally delivered a hand packed lunch the night before we left as we had to get up early to head to our next destination before the free breakfast was served. The cleaning staff was also beyond friendly and provided an amazing service. They went above and beyond cleaning our room each day, delicately putting away my wedding dress and organizing our shoes, folding any clothes left out on the bed, etc. Would stay here again without hesitation on any future visits to Chania!

Situated within 300 metres of Nea Chora Beach and less than 1 km of Kladissos Beach, The 3 Brothers' Apts features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Chania Town. Everything.. spotless apartment So convenient for beach and old town. Air conditioning and also a washing machine which was a huge bonus as had been travelling for 14 days prior. The owner was so very helpful and kind and let us keep luggage and use room until later as had a late flight. Would highly recommend and definitely go back if visiting Chania again.

Situated in Sougia at a a distance of 60 metres from the nearest beach, Lissos Rooms Sougia offers a garden. Sofia and Achilleas have recently renovated their rooms to a much higher standard than is typical in Sougia. Everything is tasteful and works well, and the beds are extremely comfortable. They were really helpful in every way, and I can't recommend Lissos highly enough. We have come to Sougia regularly for over twenty years, and this is the best place we have stayed!
