Very good place to stay in close proximity to the center of Heraklion. Clean, comfortable, with almost everything you need. Elena is very hospitable and makes sure you have a good stay. The bed was really comfortable to sleep in which is hard to find for me.
The location is good for organized tours because the pick-up points are very close.

The apartment was lovely and really comfortable, I had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had in months, loved the extra large tv (probably 55/60inch) with Netflix!! Amazing! The sofa was comfortable and the bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable! Decent size kitchen and a good size outside area at the front with a washing machine and jacuzzi. Large fridge freezer and a 4 job cooker with an oven/grill. The area was nice and quiet so a good nights sleep is guaranteed.

The location was perfect. Very nice area with lovely flowers and small streets. It was a bit up the hill but not a problem.
The communication before, during and after was excellent. Very quick in responding to my questions. Also arranged transfer from the airport for a reasonable price.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Great host, we were able to check-in earlier as our flight was in the morning. Nice pdf guide with all neceassary details and Stavros was very quick in answering any additional questions we had. Close to natural history museum (highly recommended for kids) + small beach were the locals hang out.

We enjoyed our stay at Centro Apartments. It's a new apartment in a great location. Easy access to the city center, museums, shops,restaurants, etc. Emmanouil was a great host, very responsive at all times.
If you look for sterile, clean room with all comfort, than Jorgos place will definitely not your choice. But if you up for a unique old villa, with a tavern in it that serves rembetiko live music, hosts gentle people, allows you to get in touch with the locals of the neighborhood and is owned by the uniquely nice and welcoming Jorgos, than go for it. Even the missing cleanness fits in this authentic, chaotic and charming ensemble.

The flat is in a quiet district ten minutes walk from the centre of town and is fully equipped. Our host, Maria, was there to give us our keys, but that took a bit of arranging, since our bus from Chania was an hour late. The flat is obviously lived in by real people when it's not being rented out and there were many things which made one feel as if one were living in someone's private home.
