Location was perfect being within walking distance to stores and food. We moved to this location from a different one. We were thrilled to have hot water, clean place to stay, full kitchen that met our cooking needs, privacy, front porch, air conditioning was a bonus. Price was super affordable especially when the mentioned above was not included in our first choice and was only a few dollars less. Highly recommend this place.

The host was amazing - she provided a lot of local information including best sites and shops. She even knew the 'usual spots' where sloths would hang out. Thanks to her advice we saw sloths and even kinkajous in the evening. Rooms are cozy and have everything you need: AC and hot water.

We were expected at La Pavona and then again upon our arrival in Tortuguero at Muelle Principal, making our arrival smooth and well-organized. I would also recommend this place for families with children. There are two large beds, a small kitchenette, air conditioning, and even a flat-screen TV with Netflix and more.
