This spacious house is an oasis of peace and tranquility. Located in one of the best areas of Puerto Viejo, it is within walking distance to the bars, beaches and restaurants. Due to its very secluded location this house is perfect for the travelers looking for the place away from noise and a calming and nurturing environment. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and you will hear no street noise whatsoever. Around the house one can see monkeys, eagles, morpho butterfly, sloths and other wildlife. The house has a small apartment on the ground floor with separate entrance, that is usually occupied. Pease not that we do not allow parties, no loud music and the hours of silence are from 10pm to 6am. Smoking is allowed but only on the balconies or outside of the house. Thank you for respecting our house rules
Originally from Croatia, I fell in love in Puerto Viejo 15 years ago. Living here has been a dream come true. I love books, nature, good food and swimming. I am hosting this house together with my husband Leo. Puerto Viejo is our favorite part of Costa Rica and we like to share our enthusiasm with the newcomers, so we are at your disposal for any assistance you might need while staying at our property, whether is about knowing the area, transportation, suggestions or any other subject.
Cocles beach is at only 5min walking distance, and at 10min walk from the house are several bars and highly rated restaurants restaurants such as La Pecora Nera, El Rincon Porteño, Spicy Coconut, also Noa Beach Bar, French Bakery, bike rental Ciclo Cocles, PV Wine Bar, and also a small supermarket, and if you are willing to stretch your legs for another 5 minutes, you will reach to restaurants La Nena y Rio Negro, supermarkets Super Negro, Super Cocles, farmacy, soda Johanna and plenty more. You can park up to 6 cars in the property, and if you are arriving without the car it is very easy to get around. You can get anywhere by bike, and we will be happy to assist you in organizing taxi service or help you with any transportation need, including shuttle service, private car driver or arranging a car rental for you. The property has a WIFI, Netflix and Fiber Optic internet. Any other requests you might have please let us know.
