The place was absolutely lovely, and the host was so kind and caring! Breakfast every morning was delicious, and Alberto assisted us with great recommendations and things to do/see.

Situated in Puerto Viejo and only less than 1 km from Negra Beach, Kalawala features accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. A very comfy place. Really close to the center of Puerto Viejo. Those who assisted me were extremely friendly and helped me with everything.

The property/garden is absolutely beautiful and cozy with a huge variety of lush flora. Everything was super clean and all four breakfasts I had were different and delicious. Jose and Silvia are extremely attentive hosts... they're simply the best. I would return in a heart beat.

Boasting river views, Finca Valeria Treehouses Glamping offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4 km from Jaguar Rescue Center. Most beautiful nature and animals. Quiet, clean, very friendly people, awesome dogs and an awesome pancake breakfast. Best place in the neighbourhood!

Featuring a garden, bar and views of garden, Hostal y cabinas anita-and rafting tour! is set in Siquirres, 32 km from Universidad EARTH. Anita was an excellent host. Delicious tico breakfast.

Thought out well, no open wishes, anything thought of to make you have no worries. Great location, excellent value for money and good communication with the host.

Situated 600 metres from Tortuguero Beach, H et L offers 4-star accommodation in Tortuguero and features a garden. The homestay has family rooms. Hugo the host was excellent, helping to arrange arrival by boat and then various excursions. The accommodation was of a high standard / modern and I have no trouble in recommending .... and I am a fussy person. I would also recommend the guided night walk Hugo arranged with Bernardo. It was fascinating and we saw so much wildlife that we wouldn't have seen without his expert knowledge.

Situated in Cocles, AroCocles (Victoria) features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Great location up the street from gorgeous Chiquita beach...so nice to have a morning swim and evening walk and watch the sun go down. Owners and managers are very responsive to texts. resident handy man on site so things can be done quickly. property is beautifully landscaped with gorgeous Elephant Ear plants and many others-lovely. Very solid cleaning of the rooms (at halftime if you are in for a week). A/C works like a charm and fans in every room. Great kitchen. small fridge but has a freezer!
