Really quiet district not far from Xihu. The Subway station is not that far, but the distance is not walkable. We mostly used didi (Chinese taxi) to get to the temples or parks. It wasn’t more than 20 yuan. Room is clean, facilities are new, toothbrushes are stylish. The street nearby is full of the restaurants. We found a really nice tiny family restaurant (where mostly locals eat). The food was great.

This is a homestay. Quiet and private. You get a large room, and if you choose a room with a bathtub, it’s good for two people, just like a jacuzzi. I didn’t use it, because I didn’t like spilling so much precious water just for me. I loved the room, and the staff was great. When I had a bad headache, he would buy me medicine because I was allergic to ibuprofen, which was available at the hotel. If you are vegetarian, don’t expect much from the breakfast, it’s not like the ones in hotels. However, there is bread, corn, rice, and egg. Still, if you want to experience the real Chinese way... this is it! I liked it very much! Don’t be afraid if your Chinese is as bad as mine, they speak comfortability with you via a translation App. Works perfect! My friend was picking me up and was an hour and a half delayed. No problem staying longer in the room, but at some point, I just wanted to wait in the lobby, and was pampered with a delicious tea for free. I want to say to the staff... You all are amazing people! The hotel is Nicely furnished. Our hostess Jk was lovely and when out of her way to help us. Jk cooked us some fabulous meals asked us what we would like. She was friendly and spoke good English. We visited at a quiet time of year so she kindly drove us to a few tourists destinations and was able to ask questions on our behalf in the shops etc.

Books&Bed Close to the Lake er gististaður í Hangzhou, 9,4 km frá Lingyin-hofinu og 13 km frá Xixi-votlendinu. Boðið er upp á borgarútsýni. Location was very good as the place is near food places and the metro. The view from the 18th floor was nice. I had the whole place to myself, a studio, which is just what I like. I could use the washing machine, the kitchen etc. Most of all, the hostess was very kind, helpful, and responsive. I enjoyed staying there very much.

Deyishe Warm Night Lakeview Homestay er staðsett í Thousand Island-vatni, 13 km frá Qiandaohu-þjóðgarðinum. Exceptional ! Don't know where to start. Jason, the owner is the best host ever. The rooms are comfy and spacious. The breakfast and dinner are super! We have an one year old and Jason made him breakfast too. We would highly recommend this resort. We really enjoyed every moment. From BBQ to exploring.
