I loved my little nature getaway to Rock&Wood! The location was perfect for me (close to the start of relatively quiet and peaceful hiking trails, walkable to Starbucks and West Lake, but far away enough from West Lake to avoid the HUGE amounts of people). Sally, the host, was so welcoming and helpful- helping me to navigate when my driver couldn't find the place, offering lots of suggestions and tips, and even helping me when I left my boots behind. It's a homestay style, so breakfast was family style with other guests. It was delicious and filling.

Public transportation can reach where you want to go, and taxis and takeout are also very convenient. He helped me book and rent a professional bicycle at a very good price. I didn't have to go far to handle it, I just had the bicycle delivered to me directly. It was really a great trip.

Really quiet district not far from Xihu. The Subway station is not that far, but the distance is not walkable. We mostly used didi (Chinese taxi) to get to the temples or parks. It wasn’t more than 20 yuan. Room is clean, facilities are new, toothbrushes are stylish. The street nearby is full of the restaurants. We found a really nice tiny family restaurant (where mostly locals eat). The food was great.

Perfect place to return after a long, hot day exploring Hangzhou. The rooms are located above Dajing Coffee (check in at the hostel across the street), on a small street with charming shops and cafes and easy access to Wushan park.

When I had a bad headache, he would buy me medicine because I was allergic to ibuprofen, which was available at the hotel. If you are vegetarian, don’t expect much from the breakfast, it’s not like the ones in hotels. However, there is bread, corn, rice, and egg. Still, if you want to experience the real Chinese way... this is it! I liked it very much! Don’t be afraid if your Chinese is as bad as mine, they speak comfortability with you via a translation App. Works perfect! My friend was picking me up and was an hour and a half delayed. No problem staying longer in the room, but at some point, I just wanted to wait in the lobby, and was pampered with a delicious tea for free. I want to say to the staff... You all are amazing people! Set in Moganshan Scenic Area, July Bamboo Hostel offers free WiFi. Among the various facilities are a garden, a bar, on-site dining, gym and swimming pool. Rooms come with mountain views. The hotel is Nicely furnished. Our hostess Jk was lovely and when out of her way to help us. Jk cooked us some fabulous meals asked us what we would like. She was friendly and spoke good English. We visited at a quiet time of year so she kindly drove us to a few tourists destinations and was able to ask questions on our behalf in the shops etc.

El Books&Bed Close to the Lake ofrece vistas a la ciudad y alojamiento con balcón y hervidor de agua a unos 3,3 km de la plaza Wushan. Location was very good as the place is near food places and the metro. The view from the 18th floor was nice. I had the whole place to myself, a studio, which is just what I like. I could use the washing machine, the kitchen etc. Most of all, the hostess was very kind, helpful, and responsive. I enjoyed staying there very much.
