Situated within 10 km of Askham Hall and 31 km of Derwentwater in Penrith, Honeysuckle Cottage & Whinfell Studio features accommodation with seating area. Lovely location. Everything you would need, we only stayed for one night but would have been a lovely place to spend longer and we will definitely be going back.

The Old Chair Workshop is located in Sedbergh, 44 km from Trough of Bowland, 18 km from Kendal Castle, as well as 29 km from Brough Castle. So cute!!! Lovely little home from home touches. The bed was super comfy. Right in centre of lovely little town so easy to get meals and bits and bobs.

Set 18 km from Kendal Castle, 31 km from Brough Castle and 40 km from Aysgarth Falls, Chapel Beck, Millthrop provides accommodation situated in Sedbergh. A lovely cottage (actually a converted church) with an old exterior but modern and very spacious on the inside. We did not miss a thing for a very comfortable stay.

Carlisle Central, Cute Studio Appt, The Cupboard is situated in Carlisle, 33 km from Thirlwall Castle, 38 km from Brougham Castle, and 44 km from Whinfell Forest. The place was clean, in an excellent location for looking around the town, shopping and the train station. We came by train and used this place as a base for travelling to the Lakes District, taking the train around the Cumbrian Coast as well as going to look around Lancaster. The Cupboard provided a wonderful base to complete these activities, as well as looking around Carlisle itself. A bonus was the fact that, not only did the host leave chocolates and wine when we arrived, there was also milk in the fridge for a cup of tea or coffee and washing powder for use in the washing machine. Not many places are that considerate of their guest's needs.

Located in Sedbergh and only 34 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Dalesway cottage provides accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful cottage, beautifully decorated, everything provided! And the host was very helpful - answered all our questions and made us feel very welcome. Loved the fireplace. It was already prepared and just had to lit it, the wood was enough to last us all evening. All throughout the cottage there were beautiful Christmas decorations that made us feel very festive and homely. The beds very out of this world! Extremely comfortable, with extra duvets and pillows provided. The view at the back was lovely, and bird feeders attracted a lot of little birdies that we enjoyed watching whilst having breakfast. Also, there are plenty of leaflets and maps at the cottage to pick the best hiking routes. Will definitely come back next year!

Amazing clean lodge, free WiFi and great heating , owners easy to contact if needed. Very comfortable

Featuring mountain views, Lake District Log Cabins offers accommodation with balcony, around 29 km from Lake Windermere. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The location and cabin were incredible. Our hosts went out of their way to help us. We had an incident where the tire of our rental car blew out leaving us without access to a shop and no food in the cabin. They kindly provided us with a lasagne from their freezer which genuinely saved the evening for us.

Featuring garden views, Rockside - Luxury 1 bedroom home with hot tub central, parking pet friendly hot tub turns off 930pm features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 1.5 km from World... The house was beautiful, loved the decor and had all the facilities you needed. The hot tub was lovely to use, especially after a long day of exploring. Kept updated by the host by messages and got all the instructions for the stay and top tips for the area. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, extremely clean, comfortable,good communication, clean and fresh linen, toiletries, cotton buds and pads. Good quality toilet paper. Netflix on TV, books and board games. Nice personal touches, chocolate and wine.
