A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Urzelina, Casa d'Avó Guesthouse and Apartment is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. What I liked the most was the space available for the clients. Large kitchen and large patio . The staff was polite, discreet and helpful. The cleanliness and the comfort of guests were a top priority for Victor who came to meet the guests several times. Very appreciated.

Tropical Fruit Garden is situated in Velas. The property has sea and garden views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. the house was very comfortable and very clean. Don’t forget to get a tour of the magnificent gardens!

This guesthouse was definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed in the Azores. If you are an adventurous type looking for a peaceful, remote experience in nature, I highly recommend. The hike in and out is absolutely stunning, full of ocean views, cliffs, forests, waterfalls, and rainbows. The guesthouse itself is very cozy and welcoming. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the dinner and breakfast we had were delicious. The lake is close by and the walk along the ocean is gorgeous. The staff is very kind and we enjoyed getting to know them!

Set in Velas, Casa dos Rui´s offers accommodation with seating area. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The place exceeded our expectations simply because of its host Rui! Maybe the room is a bit too small but Rui is a gem! He suggested some very best sport to visit on Sao Jorge, helped to solve return time issue with car rental company, suggested few really nice restaurants and even booked few taxi rides for us. We simply forgot about all the small inconveniences in the house, becase Rui made us spend a great time in Sao Jorge and if you read this, Rui, thank you very much!

With sea views, Quinta Do Canavial is set in Velas and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and picnic area. Amazing view of the ocean and cliffs. Tables scattered throughout the property for a secluded breakfast surrounded by cool plants a flowers. Staff was soooo awesome. They heard we were leaving early and would miss breakfast and they packed us lunch baggies to eat in the road. Amazing place I hope to come back
