Everything was perfect I felt like home. I have to appreciate the kind personal, clear room, very nice terrace, beautiful view and the homemade cookies :). Casa Do Antonio is just 100 metres from Velas Port, offering spacious rooms with cable TV and free tea and coffee for guests. Rooms boast views across Pico Island, the sea or the port. The breakfast was exactly as described and the attendant friendly and helpful. We loved watching the harbour in the morning and a great view of Mt Pico.

The place exceeded our expectations simply because of its host Rui! Maybe the room is a bit too small but Rui is a gem! He suggested some very best sport to visit on Sao Jorge, helped to solve return time issue with car rental company, suggested few really nice restaurants and even booked few taxi rides for us. We simply forgot about all the small inconveniences in the house, becase Rui made us spend a great time in Sao Jorge and if you read this, Rui, thank you very much!

AzoresDream is set in Velas in the São Jorge Island Region, 41 km from Horta. The rooms come with a TV with satellite channels. AzoresDream features free WiFi . Everything. The manager was friendly and approachable. The bedrooms were comfortable, the shared spaces were more than adequate (having many bathrooms is a big plus).. The location couldn't be better, walking distance to supermarket, swimming, and several restaurants.

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio. The suite has 2 decent sized bedrooms with king beds (2 twins together), which were very comfortable. One bedroom had a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and the other 3 piece bathroom was just down the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and clothing steamer. We really enjoyed the patio area with inside views of the courtyard. It was a great location where we could easily walk to the gardens, harbour and shopping area.
