Rui's home is located at the end of the village in the most peaceful area with a stunning view. Yet it's close to everything. We had an amazing time here. Rui is the most amazing host I've ever meet. He is helpful, thoughtful and always available to help with anything that can come up. Rui helped us to plan our stay on the island, gave us ideas what to visit and welcomed us like we were family. Rui's place is not just another nice accomodation on the island, it's a home away from home. And I would recommend anyone who wants to have a real Sao Jorge experience to stay with Rui. We will definitely return.

Wow, this place far exceeded what I was expecting for the price. Firstly, it is immaculately clean. My room was very comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious. It is located right in the heart of town, but it isn't noisy. I'll definitely return.

El Cantinho está situado en las montañas de la isla de San Jorge y ofrece una terraza amueblada con piscina de borde infinito y bañera de hidromasaje. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. The large sliding glass doors allowed for exceptional views looking over Velas and the surrounding mountains from every room. Breakfast was the typical buffet style. All in all This a great place to stay in São Jorge.

Residência Livramento se encuentra en Velas. El hostal o pensión libre de humo cuenta con wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. The room was a short walk to anything in town. There’s also cafe with one of the better menu offerings in town right next to the hotel. My favourite amenity was the room’s large balcony with a great view of Pico. The staff is friendly and helpful. I asked lots of questions.
