Very good location, great staff (answered my 100 messages not only about accomodation but Kumano Kodo in general), good atmosphere, old japanese onsen just around the corner, but no need to use it as this place has their own private onsens! Really recommend ❤️

Set in Tanabe and only 200 metres from Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art, 民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Mindhuku Wago was an excellent stay along the kumano kodo! We hadn’t pre-booked dinner but the host was kind enough to drive us to a nearby restaurant. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back one day :)

Shingu'da, Shingu Kalesi Harabeleri Parkı'na sadece 500 metre mesafede yer alan AJITO Hostel & CafeBar'da ücretsiz bisikletler, bar ve tam gün güvenlik mevcuttur. what a great little place. If you have a small group, the 4 ppl room on the 3rd floor is perfect. The place has lots of great info in multiple languages and the affiliated izakaya was the perfect place to go for dinner.

Set just 1.4 km from Shirarahama Beach, ゲストハウス三軒家 features accommodation in Shirahama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. If you want to experience real Japanese hospitality, this is the place to go. The owners went out of their way helping us to get our daughter's phone back, which she had left on the train (driving to the station in the middle of the night and organizing the key to the train!). The hotel is very cozy and the coffee (home-roasted) is great. Thank you very much!

Set in Shingu in the Wakayama region, with Kamikura Shrine and Shingu Castle Ruins Park nearby, くまの蔵inn Warehouse offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We were overwhelmed by the kindness Koji-san showed us! The warehouse is a beautiful little apartment and we would have loved to stay even longer.

Koyasan'da yer alan 2 yıldızlı Guest House Suzumeno Kakurembo, Kishi İstasyonu'na 37 km, Matsushita Parkı'na ise 44 km uzaklıktadır. I had a great stay here. The room was equipped with a mini split to provide heat or AC. It worked great. The beds were wonderfully cozy. The owner was gracious enough to do my laundry when I mentionned to her going to the coin laundry in town. Super duper clean.

Koyasan'da, Kishi İstasyonu'na 37 km, Matsushita Parkı'na ise 43 km mesafede yer alan Guest House hachi hachi, sessiz sokak manzarasına sahiptir. The breakfast was very tasty! The staff are very kind and the futon bed was super comfy.

Kamitonda Konser Salonu'na 10 km ve Kozan-ji Tapınağı'na 11 km uzaklıkta yer alan Kumano Winery Guest House, Tanabe'de klimalı ve ortak banyolu odalar sunmaktadır. Giovanni and Yutaka, the hosts and owners were very thoughtful and accommodating. We rode on his truck going to their farm where their goats are and it was super fun! The meals prepared by Giovanni, featuring his award-winning goat cheese, are very artfully prepared and served, not to mention very delicious!

Hongu'da yer alan 2 yıldızlı Guesthouse Yui, Hosshinmon Oji Tapınağı'na 8,5 km, Kumanokodo Nakahechi Sanat Müzesi'ne ise 23 km uzaklıktadır. Lovely place with super friendly owner. There is coffee and tea, a washing machine and dryer you can use for a small fee. We extended our stay and got a free upgrade!
