The family-run Vogafjos Guesthouse is set in a unique natural environment on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn. It offers rooms with a patio and free Wi-Fi. Hotel restaurant offers mostly their own products, every dish is made from their own produce (milk, cheese, meat, veggies), on some specific times you can watch cows getting milked (8:00am). Rooms are located 800m-1km from the reception, on the other side of the road. Rooms are super warm, heating is working like a monster, we had to lower thermostat and open windows to chill room. They offer everything basic, free wi-fi.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Very kind staff. very comfortable room. public kitchen is very good. Good for parking. nice location.

The buildings of this farm guesthouse are very nice and spacious and also decorated with love. We arrived a bit earlier than planned, but the lady at the reception was very kind and allowed us in. Our room was very nice and cozy with a beautiful view. The kitchen is nice and well-designed. Shared showers might be a bit tricky when you try to adjust the temperature, but in general, everything is clean and comfy. The "Social area" in our house was superb, very cozy both for couples (like us) and small companies (for example, to play boardgames at a big table). Breakfast was nice, with more options than in most other guesthouses on our way. And make sure to try their own farm ice cream!

The Mývatn Nature Baths is a 10-minute drive away. sheep right next door! great pizza right next door! building is lovely- fantastic common area and really nice kitchen with fridge space designated for each room. bathrooms and showers large and clean - towels and bath mats provided. rooms are comfortable with sink and small storage area - linens provided.

Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. Really great Breakfast Buffet. Room and location was good too.

The lady was incredible the hostal was on renovation só she went to pick me up and put me on a guesthouse with even more consitions, on a room alone. She was very helpfull and the place amazing. ,
