The family-run Vogafjos Guesthouse is set in a unique natural environment on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn. It offers rooms with a patio and free Wi-Fi. We stayed in a Superior King room and loved it! The room is spacious, nicely decorated, with all the needed amenities. It’s located a bit further away from two main blocks, and thus is quieter. A great bed with a selection of pillows (my neck was complaining after several hotels offered only very think pillows), a sitting area and well heated bathrooms (we stayed in Jan, it was important :) Loved the restaurant of the property. The breakfast was very nice, the dinner selection coould be bigger / different, but the dishes we ended up trying were good.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Very kind staff. very comfortable room. public kitchen is very good. Good for parking. nice location.

Because of a weather alert we stayed here one night longer and it couldn’t be better for us! The room was really nice and clean! The breakfast really good and the common area like the kitchen and the living room perfect for the evenings ! Highly recommend! And last but not least it’s surrounded by amazing landscapes!

The lady was incredible the hostal was on renovation só she went to pick me up and put me on a guesthouse with even more consitions, on a room alone. She was very helpfull and the place amazing. ,
