We stayed in a Superior King room and loved it! The room is spacious, nicely decorated, with all the needed amenities. It’s located a bit further away from two main blocks, and thus is quieter. A great bed with a selection of pillows (my neck was complaining after several hotels offered only very think pillows), a sitting area and well heated bathrooms (we stayed in Jan, it was important :) Loved the restaurant of the property. The breakfast was very nice, the dinner selection coould be bigger / different, but the dishes we ended up trying were good.

Our host was wonderful, very knowledgeable of the area with lots of tips. We arrived to a wonderful surprise of homemade bread and food in the kitchen for breakfast. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The patio has a great view of the sunset which was wonderful after a long day. If I travel to Myvatn again, I know where I will be staying :)

The buildings of this farm guesthouse are very nice and spacious and also decorated with love. We arrived a bit earlier than planned, but the lady at the reception was very kind and allowed us in. Our room was very nice and cozy with a beautiful view. The kitchen is nice and well-designed. Shared showers might be a bit tricky when you try to adjust the temperature, but in general, everything is clean and comfy. The "Social area" in our house was superb, very cozy both for couples (like us) and small companies (for example, to play boardgames at a big table). Breakfast was nice, with more options than in most other guesthouses on our way. And make sure to try their own farm ice cream!

Situato in una posizione tranquilla, a 5 km dal raccordo anulare dell'Islanda e a 13 km dal Lago Mývatn, questa struttura a conduzione familiare vanta la vista sulla montagna di Sandfell, 2 vasche... Clean room, comfy bed. Spacious communal areas, hot tub always open and with beautiful scenario on the countryside and the animals. Delicious and generous breakfast with homemade products. We would definitely stay again, happened to see also the Northern Lights on a clear and starry night.

Situato a Reykjahlid, a 500 metri dal Lago Myvatn, il Hlid Hostel offre camere e cottage, zona barbecue, terrazza, cucina in comune e connessione WiFi e parcheggio gratuiti. The lady was incredible the hostal was on renovation só she went to pick me up and put me on a guesthouse with even more consitions, on a room alone. She was very helpfull and the place amazing. ,
