Very friendly, super clean, fantastic decor, very high standard, bed was lovely and comfy, fab pillows! The hot tub was great, easy to book your slot/s, if like us it was a great start and end to a day. The hubby found the sauna to be an added bonus!! Fantastic seating areas by the river, very soothing to listen to the water rushing by, there is a lovely little summer house outside too, we would love to visit again in the summer. The biggest healthiest chickens in the front garden, don't forget to take them some grapes! Super breakfasts, and the smoothies were delicious, all in all not a bad thing to say about this fantastic little guest house!!

Such great location, really quiet, beautiful room with everything we needed, lovely homemade shortbread biscuits, great breakfast and Jo so nice and welcoming. Perfect place to stay after or before ferry crossing and will stay there any time we travel.

The room was comfortable, well equipped and had a good size, the breakfast was excellent and very generous - we couldn't have asked for more from our wonderful hosts. The location is good, in walking distance to shops and pubs, but you still don't have to go far to get a great view of the night sky.

Para los amantes del trekking hay caminatas agradables para hacer con hermosos paisajes

Thornbank House está en Stranraer, a 8 min a pie de Stranraer Beach, y dispone de alojamiento con centro de fitness, parking privado gratis y jardín. Everything was in order. The swimming pool and hot tub were a real extra.
