The room was clean like a 5-star hotel and the bed was just really soft and cozy. I think it was the best stay I've ever had in the UK.

Hop in your car for a short journey to the lake and more shops and restaurants. Beautifully decorated, quiet, and inviting for a night in with a glass of wine in the lobby. The breakfast was lovely too, and the staff were very friendly. Loved all of the details in the room and the property. If you're interested in less touristy food, it's only a 30 minute drive to Ambleside, which has some fantastic restaurants and less tourists.

Esta hermosa casa victoriana está situada en una zona tranquila entre Windermere y Bowness, a solo 1,6 km del lago Windermere. The place is very quaint and I loved how each room is themed differently on explorers and nature. Also, loved the fact that we were welcomed to some warm mulled wine( it was freezing outside) Also, the breakfast is amazing !
