Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. Nice location, dog friendly, clean, extremely comfortable bed! Hurrah...we slept! And the little adjoining room with a microwave, plates etc etc was really useful too. Nice brekky!

Set in Ambleside, The Log House is a recently renovated accommodation, 8.6 km from World of Beatrix Potter and 16 km from Lake Windermere. We liked how easy it was to check in and out. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom with the big tub and waterfall shower was a beautiful touch.

Silverdale Guesthouse, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Keswick, 3.3 km from Derwentwater, 17 km from Buttermere, as well as 32 km from Askham Hall. Clean, comfortable, and convenient describes Silverdale. The parking situation was so easy with private parking available. Mark was a fantastic host in every way! Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay at Silverdale were we fortunate enough to visit beautiful Keswick again!
