The hotel has a very well equipped store/deli, and it is open throughout the day. While there isn’t a restaurant kitchen, the staff will heat up/ cook any prepared foods you purchase such as frozen pizzas or other foods. And you can eat supper prior to 8:30 p.m. if you would like. Salads, bocadillos, and lots of other items available. The store opens at 7 a.m. so you can have coffee early before setting out for the day. We had a very pleasant stay.

Each room at Casa Ruy Lopez has attractive traditional décor. absolute beautiful little place, located in the old town close to the main plazas, so never short of nice bars and restaurants. we stayed in the family room with an amazing terrace. the attention to detail throughout the hotel was great, rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. breakfast was perfect and every staff member was super friendly. amazing find

A recently renovated property, Olivae Hostal Boutique is located in Cáceres near San Juan Church, Santa María Church-Procathedral and Plaza Mayor Caceres. The location is perfect, walking distance from everything. The people at the hotel reception and cleaning lady very helpful, friendly and caring. The room is spacious, well decorated, bed is extremely comfortable. The property is very clean. We would go back without hesitation!

Situated within 14 km of San Juan Church and 14 km of Santa María Church-Procathedral in Malpartida de Cáceres, Hostal La Caballeriza features accommodation with seating area. The Lady in charge was so friendly and helpfull and her beautifull daughter would translate for us. I assumed (foolishly and ignorantly)that everyone would speak english. I really should have learnt some Spanish at least. Malpatida is a lovely little town, charming and very traditional, a complete get away from the normal day to day life. Surrounded by stunning countryside and farms. The white storks are brilliant to watch and are everywhere, the vultures and eagles soar above the village throughout the day. A great place for relaxing, birdwatching and to experience how the spanish live such a happy relaxed lifestyle.

Fantastic value for money. A perfect stop off point if you're traveling from North to South of Spain and need somewhere in the middle. Juan was even kind enough to put my motorcycle into his garage overnight as the train was horrendous. Comfy bed, great breakfast dinner in the bar adjacent was great.
