He also gave us plenty of information (out of his restaurant recommendations we picked one and ended up having a memorable dinner at Eleven restaurant in Franschhoek). The cottae is in a very quiet and green setting and has a next-door nature reserve walk. It has the rustic feel of a cottage with all the modern comforts, beautiful kitchen with modern appliances, fire stove, comfortable mattresses, and plenty of pillows. Don't forget to buy one or more jars of their wonderful lemon marmalade.

Even our small rental car made it without problems and since its only one road it is easy to find. Driving slowly you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. The best part of the stay was that I had the chance to go on trail horse back rides through these stunning fields and forests with mountain views. The horses are well trained and suitable for every level of experience. Linda was a great guide giving Information about the farm, the surroundings and the horses. She made me feel super comfortable and safe on the ride. Also a big thank you to Eunice who helped with all kinds of questions and needs like towels for the beautiful pool. I definately want to come back.
Plettenberg Bay

The place is incredibly pleasant and relaxing, with the added convenience of having full access to all the kitchen and garden amenities, which made our stay exceptionally comfortable. The warmth and hospitality of our hosts, the lovely Carla and her husband, were truly heartwarming; they welcomed us with open arms and quickly became dear to us. Additionally, the presence of Colada and her friend, two magnificent dogs, provided a sense of security, while the company of Ginger, an adorable cat, and the stunning peacocks added to the charm of our experience. Words fall short of capturing the essence of this place; it's something that must be experienced firsthand.

One of the best self catering designs that I have come across. There is space in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. The linnen and curtains are luxurious; comfortable stay. The beautiful surroundings create a relaxed atmosphere which were much needed and enjoyed. We also received a free bag of wood, firelighters and matches which was a lovely surprise. Apartamento moderno, muy espacioso y con unas vistas al campo de golf. La cocina de tipo americano, muy espaciosa y completa con todos equipos.
La granja es fantástica, lo suficientemente lejos de la carretera para no escuchar a los coches, y lo suficientemente cerca como para llegar en 5 minutos. Es una granja funcional, con almendros, ovejas, huerto y un pequeño lago, todo rodeado de naturaleza impactante. La propiedad es completamente independiente en cuanto a agua y electricidad, y las habitaciones ofrecen mucho confort. Es un lugar fantástico para desconectar un par de días y disfrutar de atardeceres, amaneceres, y un cielo estrellado precioso.
Está muy bien como campo de base para hacer turismo desde ahí (pero en coche). La casa está perfecta, tiene de todo y el parking subterraneo está muy bien.
una granja enorme con alojamiento tipo lodge, estuvimos en cottage en frente del rio, muy comodo y lujoso. El restaurante bueno y bonito, enorme parque con animales antilopes, gacelas.. Una zona para niños con columpios y conejos y ponneys. El desayuno era excelente, buffet libre había de todo. Todos los dias ibamos a ver a las avestruces.
La casita es muy acogedora, está en una granja perdida en medio de la nada pero es un sitio muy especial y bonito. Los anfitriones muy amables, incluso nos enseñaron la granja con sus animales.
La granja es preciosa, puedes dar un paseo para ver a los animales y el huerto. El apartamento está bien equipado y no le falta detalle. Hasta nos dejaron leche fresca de las vacas de la granja en la nevera para que la probáramos. La granja está próxima a la parte interior de la reserva de De Hoop, donde se pueden ver a los buitres (la parte de las dunas está a unos 15Km).
Cottage decorada con mucho gusto. Anfitriona excepcional. Poder dormir en medio del campo sin ningún tipo de ruidos. La casita tiene todo lo necesario. A pesar de ser invierno y la noche fría, la casa dispone de un radiador de pared y una manta eléctrica y no pasamos nada de frío. Cama alta muy cómoda.
Me gusto la amplitud y comodidad del alojamiento, y el espacio abierto donde podías ver los animalitos de la granja.
Granja preciosa con plantaciones de Guava. Tienen 4 perros juguetones, nos encantó su compañía. La casa de huéspedes tenía todo lo necesario para una estancia cómodo y sencilla disfrutando de un entorno natural inigualable. Nos recibieron de forma acogedora, nos dieron acceso libre a la piscina y campos de cultivos para poder caminar.
