Alpha is situated in a very beautiful area and is surrounded by orange sandstone mountains. We stayed at the Vineyard cottage which was clean, comfortable and has a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is quite secluded and it felt that we were the only ones on the farm. One of our highlights was a walk to a waterfall and we were led by one of the farm dogs. He looked after us throughout the walk and we didn't need to look at signs. We had a few swims in the farm dam which was a real pleasure. We left very refreshed. We can highly recommend Alpha.

This beautifully designed and cosily furnished cottage is an absolute gem! You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

Heuwelsig Farm Cottages offers self-catering accommodation on a working wine farm, just outside Franschhoek, only an hour drive from Cape Town. The loft was so beautiful and elegantly designed and decorated! It was very comfortable and had everything one could need. It was peaceful and close to the main part of Franschhoek town. We will definitely be there again!

Located 7 km from the town of Stellenbosch, Gemoedsrus Farm features views of the surrounding winelands and offers amenities including an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. The property is simply gorgeous. The view from the breakfast room and from Garden/Pool is spectacular. Linda and her team are very welcoming and adorable. Breakfast was very good and with an amazing view on wine yard and mountains. Next time we will spend for sure more than one night.

The guest farm was a perfect trip away! We had a wonderful stay there! All the activities from walking in the area to mountain biking and horse riding was amazing. The views were breath-taking and the owners really ensured that our time there was memorable. I would definitely recommend this farm to my friends and family! We will be adding this to our list to visit again!

What a beautiful environment, a fantastic view - the beautiful mountains and this cottage had simply everything that I needed. The sunset was stunning! Beautifully clean well set up cottage. Fantastic hostess who really cared about my comfort. I will most definately be back.

Lovely owner. Safe parking. One of the best self catering designs that I have come across. There is space in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. The linnen and curtains are luxurious; comfortable stay. The beautiful surroundings create a relaxed atmosphere which were much needed and enjoyed. We also received a free bag of wood, firelighters and matches which was a lovely surprise. Thank you so much!
