Well situated in the centre of Chiang Mai, POR Thapae Gate offers air-conditioned rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and an outdoor swimming pool. Wonderful hotel located in a quiet alley just off a main road. Very friendly, helpful staff and amazing breakfasts with a fair amount of day-to-day rotation/variety. We loved the pool and snacks. We also liked how they tried to be sustainable in many ways (no plastic bottles). We would definitely come back here if we're in Chaing Mai again.

Love how the floor is always clean and i walked barefoot almost all the time. the staff is very nice, upgraded the room for me and gave me free water everyday even since i asked once on the first day. I will definitely go back again and again and again. thank you all!

The room was super super cute and true to pictures. The couple who run the joint are so lovely and very helpful, plus I love Dumdum the cat very much. My favourite place I’ve stayed over 3 weeks of travelling, great location and great facilities.
