This is perhaps the most friendly hotel we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in many. It is like staying with friends rather than in a hotel. The young people running the hotel were so friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests without being formal. Breakfast was very adequate and fresh fruit and coffee was available at any time during the day. The staff were very helpful when we were selecting our excursions and restaurants. The hotel is in a prime spot for the Sunday night markets which is an event not to be missed.

Hotel Thai Akara - Lanna Boutique Hotel smješten je u starom gradu Chiang Mai, na 400 metara od spomenika Tri kralja i Gradskog umjetničkog i kulturnog centra. The room was clean, spacious and modern. The staff made us feel like home. It was my birthday and I mentioned it just randomly in the check in and they brought me a cake and sing a song. They also arranged a taxi for us that picked us from the airport and brought us to the hotel. Incredible experience!

The staff went out of their way to arrange something special for our honeymoon: Upon arrival we were totally caught off guard by a very wonderful flower arrangement, and 2 swans made out of towels, on the bed. So great!! The rooms are great too, and the staff was always very helpful! I can definitely recommend this hotel. It's been by far the best hotel on our trip so far.
