Excellent location right in the center of Gion. Room was lovely and spacious and beds were very comfortable. The receptionists were lovely and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The Gate Hotel Kyoto Takasegawa by Hulic features a restaurant, fitness centre, a bar and shared lounge in Kyoto. We stayed for 5 nights for vacarion! The location is perfect if you would like to walk around to the nice canals at night. We didnt book breakfast but there is a blue bottle cafe inside the hotel which was convenient.

The studio-style room is spacious for two people and very well sound proofed. It has a kitchen (with cooktop) and a washing machine (bring your own detergent), and the beds are very comfortable. The price is amazing for what it offers.
