It takes less than 5 minutes to Kyoto station and there is a great ramen restaurant just next to the hotel. - Staffs are really friendly. Staffs welcomed us giving towels in front of the gate on snowy days and you can borrow an umbrella if you don't have yours. - Their breakfast and ice cream with mochi were also our favorites. Actually we didn't expect much about their breakfast because we couldn't find any good reviews about it but we were satisfied with the menu they serve. You can try healthy obanzai every morning. They serve western style breakfast as well. - The shower is very spacious, and you can enjoy hot bath after a long day.

The room was perfect for 2 people, we mostly used the room for sleeping and getting freshened up, but not spending alot of time in the room for leisure since it is small. Loved the bathroom and shower amenities, no need to bring the usual body/hair wash products. Room was cozy and warm for the Kyoto winter. Reception had a beautiful vibe with a coffee machine and all the essentials. Location was great, on a quiet street but close to Family Mart, restaurants, about a 10 min walk to Kyoto station. Had a great time here and had no complaints! Great value for money
