Matatagpuan sa chic residential Aventino area ng Rome, isang ika-19 na siglong villa ang San Anselmo na may hardin, kung saan hinahain ang almusal kapag maganda ang panahon. The hotel felt luxurious, the staff were very pleasant. Also It's uphill and traveling by foot after long day was tiring BUT the view is great and we used rental bikes/scooters to get to the property easily and to roam around in rome!

Offering free WiFi, Sonder Testaccio offers accommodation in Rome, 2.3 km from Roman Forum and 2.6 km from Palazzo Venezia. The customer service was wonderful, the staff were very helpful, friendly and pleasant when we asked any questions. Having a private balcony was so nice, a glass of wine in the evening and just watching the street below was enjoyable. The room was modern, stylish and comfortable. You get alot of value for your money for what you pay for. Testaccio is further from the city center but with that the food is better, you are not being overcharged and it's a more normal place to relax and wander around the area. There was a great exhibition in Mattatoio just across the road on the 1974 Revolution of the Carnations in Portugal which was a real find. Once you are on the metro it's super easy to travel around Rome, I would say it's worth it if you want to get away from the crowds when the day is over and sleep in a quieter spot.

Featuring a garden, The Sanctuary Urban Retreat is located in the centre of Rome, 1.6 km from Roman Forum. Quiet and peaceful place that’s walking distance to some major historical landmarks such as the Colosseum. Has a garden area where you can hear the beautiful church choir right next door. Special thanks to Lavinia at the reception who answered all my questions about the city as a first time visitor, and even gave me a list she prepared for places of interest.

Set in Rome, within 600 metres of Roman Forum and 700 metres of Coliseum, Il Monastero Collection provides free WiFi. Palazzo Venezia is 1 km away. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower. Great location, hard to beat being right at the steps of Circo Massimo, and at the same time not affected by the hustle around the Colosseum or Fountains in the center. All the main sights are 10-20 minutes away. Or you can have a stroll along Tevere. There are some buses, but I like to walk around Rome, not to pass by in the bus. The room is fine, everything you generally need, good AC, fridge, soft towels, comfy bed, spacious bathroom, kettle and espresso machine, some snacks and water. The building itself is marvelous. We didn't have time to relax in the courtyard, but the interior and exterior of the building looks great. There's no restaurant in the building, but there are several reasonable options right next door, and hey, you are in Rome, there are hundreds of great places to eat.

Located 600 metres from the Testaccio area and a short walk across the Tiber River to the Trastevere area, Hotel Major Aventinus offers rooms with views of the garden or street. The property was in a beautiful area! A short walk from restaurants, supermarkets, the train, parks, famous sightseeings, and close enough to get to other areas by foot. The staff were so accommodating, and we loved how family oriented it was. The room fit our needs and was very charming. The only thing I can say is that it was a bit hot being that there was no ac, but I also went in the height of summer. It was such a lovely experience, I highly recommend.

Located on the Aventino, one of Rome's 7 hills, Santa Prisca is 10 minutes' walk from FAO headquarters and 400 metres from Piramide Metro Station. Parking and internet are free. Nice, clean, good location, good breakfast, welcoming staff.

In the centre of Rome, Hotel Aventino is located on the quiet Aventine Hill, a 10-minute walk from Circo Massimo Metro. It features elegant rooms and free WiFi throughout. Everything was perfect! All staff were exceptional. We had absolutely everything we needed: transfer from airport to hotel and back when we left, excellent breakfast, excellent coffee, amazing location. The front desk staff was absolutely sensational, providing us with the best transportation options, tours, and helping us in the most empathetic and familiar way with my sister 's accommodation and transfer without any prior reservations. They made us feel at home, even more, they pampered us by giving us everything we perhaps didn't even think but needed every moment of our stay there.

The design hotel Abitart is situated in the heart of the Ostiense neighbourhood, close to Ostiense Railway and Metro Station, which provides quick access to all of Rome, including Fiumicino Airport. Perfect location, away from the busy places but with great places around the hotel

Hotel Villa San Pio is located on Rome's green Aventine Hill. Made up of 3 separate villas, and quiet gardens. The elegant rooms feature wood floors and decorative walls. It is my favourite place to stay in Rome as it is close to FAO and close to tourist attractions. It is situated in the green leafy Aventine Hill with it’s villas and green gardens.

Sourire Hotel offers accommodation centrally located in Rome, just a 14-minute walk from the Coliseum. It features free WiFi throughout and air-conditioned rooms. It is always a pleasure to stay here. The staff is always so welcoming. We have been staying at Sourie for years. It’s the perfect location. Close to Circo Massimo and the centre but away from all the business. Great value for the money. The breakfast is always varied and delicious.
