This is much better than the places where all the tourist hotels are - you can experience the real Roman way of life there. All the popular tourist sites can be reached very easily by public transport (metro station 2 minutes by walk). Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and beautiful rooms.

The B&B Hotel Roma Tuscolana San Giovanni has great links to both the historic centre of Rome and Fiumicino Airport. Breakfast was really great. Everything was clean.

Due to plane delays we were a day late arriving and it wasn't a problem. John was very nice to visit with each night we came in after being out and about all day. The ladies who provided breakfast were super friendly. The location was quiet and it was a five minute walk to the metro so not a big deal. Good little eateries near the hotel. Rooms were very quiet and were kept very clean.

Hotel Cilicia is set in a quiet area of Rome, 1 km from the Appia Antica Regional Park, and a 15-minute walk from Re di Roma Metro station, on line A. The hotel room was very clean. The staff is very polite. We had a request for a late check, bed arrangement, they approved all that. They were changing the towels and cleaning the room every day. Excellent value for money!

Annalise on reception was very helpful with all our questions , and Valentina in the dining room . A wide selection of gluten free breakfast products was provided and a vegan products were specifically purchased for our stay . I cannot praise Valentina enough for ensuring gluten free food was available. All the staff were very friendly . The staff were very well informed on dietary requirements . Although the hotel is a little out of the main tourist area in Rome this is not a problem . 7-8 minute walk to the nearest metro station with train frequency every 3-4 mins . There is also a bus stop right outside which stops at most of the major tourist areas. Bus 87 is great . The beds are super comfortable and the bed linen is great . We were at the front of the hotel which looks onto a noisy main road . The breakfast room has fabulous views over Rome and the service is great .

Conveniently situated in the San Giovanni district of Rome, Reyes Suite is situated 700 metres from Ponte Lungo Metro Station, 1.3 km from Porta Maggiore and 1.9 km from Vittorio Emanuele Metro... We changed rooms right after our arriving because the one we booked wasn't air conditionized and it has a common bathroom with others. The receptionists were super helpful and they helped us to solve this problem immadiately. The weather was so hot outside during our staying so the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the new room. Also, the room was clean and well organized, the bathroom was also equipped.
