The location is great, everything is in close proximity. We were glad to get tips from the staff about where to find stores, waffles etc. There is an Irish pub in the hotel, it isn't loud and didn't bother us at night, however, we didn't get to try it. Parking is tight, but manageable. Everything was clean, communication in English was smooth and checking in and out was effortless. Would go again.

Located right in Ghent's historical city centre, Hotel de Flandre Ghent is set in a historical 18th-century townhouse and features a terrace and an on-site cocktail lounge and bar. The room was clean and comfortable in an inside beautiful court. The personnel was polite and helpful and the location was perfect for walking around this beautiful city.

The building and decoration, it's 100/100. All saffs were friendly and helpful, exven Mr. Aldo, the cat reception. I like the separaed toilet room and bath room. The view from my room was sooo amazing!

This former monastery offers rooms in the centre of Ghent, only 10 minutes’ walk from the Belfry. PoortAckere dates from 1278 and offers unique character, free Wi-Fi and a garden terrace. The environment is great, the building is beautiful, there’s a nice garden. there’s no air-conditioner but when the windows are open, the summer breeze is just so nice and cool. there are hot water and coffee machine in common area which is very thoughtful and generous.

The room was very clean and modern, the bed comfortable. The staff was answering our questions almost immediately via chat and even came by in order to deal with the matter. The manager was in general very helpful and even allowed us to move rooms, since my company is very sensitive to noise and asked for a quieter room (the issue was noch caused by the hotel). The manager was kind enough to let us move to a bigger room without extra charge since the smaller rooms were all taken. I can't judge the breakfast, since I didn't use it but there was a coffee machine and all and a nice lounge to eat in. Besides that we were also able to reach the city by foot in about 15 minutes. I can really reccomend this hotel.
