Beautiful country house in very peaceful location. Well appointed and gorgeously decorated in rustic style. The kids particularly enjoyed the local wildlife, chickens in the garden and the owner’s lovely dogs.
When we stayed for two nights this week It was quiet, peaceful, and far enough away for us from the hustle and bustle of Brighton where we have family to visit. They do host weddings though, so you might wish to check if there are any booked for when you plan to stay. The bedroom was lovely, as was the dining area both of which were a bit unusual, and quirky. We were able to take our dog; he sat under our table when we had breakfast, and there are fields which belong to the property we could give him a bit of a stretch around.
A very pleasant and well-appointed hotel in a great location, down at the quieter eastern end of the beach. It is much more peaceful staying here than on the main seafront to the west of the pier and access to the beach is much easier. The hotel has a nice veranda overlooking the sea and the rooms are smartly fitted out with good water pressure in the shower.
Greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who demonstrated how to use security door to enter and exit Hotel. Sea Shell is an excellent location very close to sea front and centre of town yet peaceful and quiet. We slept very well, bed was comfortable with large en suite bathroom that was clean and shower was good. We appreciated hospitality tray to make cup of tea. Great value for money and will happily stay there again if we get chance to return to beautiful Eastbourne. Thank you, best wishes.
Excellent.....gold star from us. Breakfast was more then enough to set you up for the day. Very quiet peaceful place and hospitality was great. We will be back. Thank you very much Kate and family.
It was quiet and peaceful. The view from the bedroom was wonderful with countryside and all the animals.
Great location, quiet and peaceful place to stay. Adorable small cottage perfect for a couple getaway. Kitchen has everything you need. Friendly locals. Definitely worth checking the Seven Sisters cliffs hiking path. Will come back again in the future.
