Graskop
Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine.
The tastefully decorated chalets are fully equipped and some of them offer views. Each unit comes with a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer.
We loved everything from the location, only 20min drive from Blyde River Canyon with more beautiful stops along the way. The host was super kind and had prepared firewood and even kindling for us to keep warm at night! Would definitely stay there again.

The nearest airport is Skukuza, 23 km from Langa Langa Tented Safari Camp, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. One of the best camps we’ve ever been. Done previously many safaris , so I can fairly compare. This place is not about artificial ( and sometimes stupid) over-luxury ; it goes straight to the point of what a great bush camp should be . Tents are very comfy, new and clean , food is above expectations, perfect location. But what makes this place very special is the staff .. they are all incredibly good and make you feel that managing and running a camp in the bush seems the easiest thing in the world ( and we know it is not)… they really deserve a “Bravo!” Safari to kruger ( 15 minutes to reach the gate) included in the rates , and also very close to Sabi sands; they arrange safari there ( try at least once) for a small extra cost . With all this next to your camp, you’ll have the chance to spot the big five and many more animals in very few days. Overall a wonderful stay for newbie and also for weathered safari guys . price/quality ratio 10 on 10… amazing ! Thank you all guys, and see you very soon again!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, LAKE-HOUSE CABIN is set in Witbank. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Lovely wooden cabin with 2 bedrooms, well appointed kitchen (with oven), great balcony with views. Ivy and Charl were very welcoming and helpful. Great location on the Lisbon River.
Very lovely accommodation into the forest of Graskop, very friendly staff and owners! Also great value for money, as we got a whole chalet with living room, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping room plus veranda for our own. Moreover, very nice to have a chilled evening at the fireplace in the living place.
It was a perfect place for relaxed two nights. The owner Rainer was super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities. He also gave advise on which streets to take and which not. His wife made amazing breakfast, serving not only home made jam but also home made bread and brezels. Our favorite was sitting at the fireplace in our own chalet in the evening. The chalet could easily house 5-6 people on two floors.
The location is my favourite part of this place. It is absolutely beautiful. Also, the wooden cabins are a very nice touch.
The Spa is awesome, the chalet could do with upgrades, the shower is small, the cutlery in the kitchen a bit dated. The activities were great, we did archery and quad biking, very nice There is a fireplace good fir winter, there were plenty blankets.
Everything - the cabin was absolutely beautiful; it exceeded my expectations. it had a BBQ on the terrace and a fireplace inside, plus a great kitchen. The owners were very friendly and made a lovely breakfast. Highly recommend! And stay longer than a night - we wish we could have.
Short drive from town surrounded by indigenous forest. We liked the German style breakfast, very quiet nights, and the atmosphere of the wooden cabins. What other establishment can learn from this, is the abundance of SA “two point” (European style plugs) which most SA cell phone and camera chargers require. Small things like this help to make a holiday without worries!
Situated in an idyllic setting with beautiful wooden cabins. Electric blankets, infrared heater in the bathroom, fire place, beautiful deck with a great view. Great breakfast with homemade products.
Soothing sounds of the Sabie River,literally meters away from the cabins, beautiful garden/river views, comfortable beds, and a very friendly staff. Although the breakfast was limited, we found it to be enjoyable. On the other hand, as this was my second booking at this property, I found the Hippo Cabins with Jacuzzi to be somewhat small, however this didn't worry us too much because we were out on the road the entire time; NB: The Rhino Chalets at this property are incredibly huge and just a home away from home 🏡
