Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. Wonderful and silent place, beautiful and a marvelous breakfast.

The location is extremely beautiful. Mornings are wonderful because we could have breakast with the special members of the resort - Giraffes, Zebras and lots of jumping Impalas!

Service is top notch and food is the best! I loved all my meals there and I stayed there for 3 nights. Breakfast has a huge spread and there’s something different every night for dinner. Huge kudos to Silence and Linda for the best service and meals! Don’t miss the game drives. It’s the best way to see animals in Kruger. The game drives are in Kruger and I got to see leopard, lions and the very elusive wild dogs. Kruger gate is about 20 minutes drive from the lodge (I self drive into the park for my own afternoon drive). Rooms are comfortable and very comfortable beds. You can hear hyenas and lions calling in the middle of the night (although there aren’t any animals on property).

The room is soooo adorable. Clean room and comfy bed. Big bathroom. Tv, wifi, microwave, kettle even a stove ( but we didn't use). We are travelling to Johannesburg and this place is a wonderful stay to regain energy. There is parking space. Host and friends are very nice and friendly. Love the room!
