The personal care and individual treatment. Each guests requirements were considered and fulfilled. Our meals were planned with our input. Natalie arranged the safari and spa for us. When she found out that we were celebrating our 30th anniversary she arranged a gift for us. Further she recommended where we go during the day. She is well versed with the area. The staff were equally pleasant and provided us with whatever we required.

A Heavenly Retreat with Exceptional Hospitality!
Rating: 5/5 Stars
I'm struggling to find fault with our incredible stay at this lodge! The owners have truly created a home away from home, where every detail is meticulously thought out to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience.
The amenities are top-notch, perfect for a self-catering getaway. The lodge is immaculately decorated, spotlessly clean, and furnished with high-quality furniture, bedding, and towels. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and always available to assist, making our stay truly unforgettable.
Their hands-on approach and dedication to our comfort made us feel so at ease that we extended our stay by two extra nights! If you're seeking a peaceful retreat with exceptional hospitality, look no further. This lodge is a true gem, and we can't wait to return!

Firstly I would love to appreciate sis Xoli for everything ( warm welcome, her smile , respect etc) keep up the good work. The place is clean quiet n nice out of 10 I rate it 100/10. Had a great stay 👌👌👌👌 definitely coming back again
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Superb view, friendly staff, chalet was cleaned daily. Had sightings at the river right from our chalet. The Elephants came up to the fence daily. The monkeys kept the kids entertained. And the PR Cat was also friendly. Had a wonderful time and will definately return.
Close to the border to cross into Mozambique. Nice view from the bar/pool area. Manager helped us warm food in restaurant microwave as our chalet didn't have one.
Can't get closer to an entrance of the Kruger Park. To sit on the veranda looking over the river and Kruger is just amazing. The Martial Eagle cabin is comfortable and great for a family or group
Consistently good. Neat, clean and comfortable chalets. We tried the restaurant on the premises for the first time. The food was good and the staff exceptional.
I have stayed at River Hill Lodge before. It's a really great location and the chalet was very nice. The view from the bar is spectacular. My dinner was also excellent.
We have had the most relaxing holiday in a beautiful location where we were able to spot hippo, elephant, hyena and many species of bird from our chalet.
Room was rustic with views over the Crocodile River into the Kruger. Location is perfect for Kruger day visits. At night elephants stopped outside my chalet. The property has solar so you won't be impacted by loadshedding.
