An extremely safe and secured property that ticks all of the boxes for a perfect stay. To begin with the amazing view this place has to offer, right to every staff member here.
Lucia, Benefit & Brian and their impeccable hospitality!
Rooms are super clean and spacious. Food is excellent with a different, well thought, menu everyday.
The proximity to crocodile bridge gate is an added advantage in cutting short travel time.
We were treated with frequent Waterbuck sightings and even an Elephant and a Hippo.
Wouldn’t miss a chance to come back here. Thanks for making this stay a memorable one.

Marc and I had an amazing time at this place! Peter is lovely to talk to and all the staff were super friendly and really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was gorgeous and so comfy—perfect for relaxing after a game drive. Plus, the food was just delicious. Everything just exceeded our expectations. Can’t wait to come back! 😊

Great place for recharging your brain. Full connection with nature. Excellent service provided by the lady in charge.
For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
Superb view, friendly staff, chalet was cleaned daily. Had sightings at the river right from our chalet. The Elephants came up to the fence daily. The monkeys kept the kids entertained. And the PR Cat was also friendly. Had a wonderful time and will definately return.
Close to the border to cross into Mozambique. Nice view from the bar/pool area. Manager helped us warm food in restaurant microwave as our chalet didn't have one.
Can't get closer to an entrance of the Kruger Park. To sit on the veranda looking over the river and Kruger is just amazing. The Martial Eagle cabin is comfortable and great for a family or group
Consistently good. Neat, clean and comfortable chalets. We tried the restaurant on the premises for the first time. The food was good and the staff exceptional.
I have stayed at River Hill Lodge before. It's a really great location and the chalet was very nice. The view from the bar is spectacular. My dinner was also excellent.
We have had the most relaxing holiday in a beautiful location where we were able to spot hippo, elephant, hyena and many species of bird from our chalet.
Room was rustic with views over the Crocodile River into the Kruger. Location is perfect for Kruger day visits. At night elephants stopped outside my chalet. The property has solar so you won't be impacted by loadshedding.
