The accommodation you provided and the unparalleled view of the ocean were beyond everything. Our room was wonderful, like a dream world; the closeness of nature and the view of the sky was amazing. The special atmosphere of the accommodation, as well as the comfortable and carefully designed equipment, all contributed to the fact that we could spend calm and relaxing days here. We really appreciated the warmth and attention with which they welcomed us and all the useful information they gave us about the island and the attractions in the area. The breakfasts were always tasty and plentiful, giving us a great start to each day. I am sure we will be back and recommend this fabulous place to others.

Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.... This place is located INSIDE the national ecological park, and provides access to some of the best hiking on the island. We were a family of three, and everyone slept comfortably, and enjoyed walking to O Barracão, which has amazing poncha and a great food selection. The property also has a small pond with trout, and friendly donkeys. Dioclécio greeted us, and had great recommendations for hikes and information about the local area. We would love to come and visit again!
