The Lighthouse is a beautiful listed property offering 4-star accommodation near Frome, within the gently rolling Somerset countryside. Beautiful property and grounds. Lovely rooms with everything you could possibly need. Great selection for breakfast and really lovely staff.

The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. So much character in this idyllic setting! It is an old inn, so there is no air conditioning, but we had a fan and two windows so we could create a breeze in our room. The food was outstanding and the service beyond reproach. Lola made our visit extremely enjoyable; she was attentive and really enhanced our experience. The gardens are lovely, as is the walk to the old church yard.

Set in Cannington, The Priory provides a shared lounge. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Tina is a great host kindly suggesting a route for our onward journey along the north Cornwall coast. The house has been beautifully restored and it was lovely to visit, wish we could have stayed longer!

Located in Cheddar, Wassells House Accommodation is a recently renovated accommodation, 27 km from Ashton Court and 28 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. I felt very safe it was a 18-20 min walk into town. I enjoyed the room. The bathrooms were wonderful! After traveling for 2 weeks with terrible bathrooms and even black mold in one, this updated bathroom was HEAVEN. 🚽🚿 The host, while not obligated, offered and helped me with my suitcase up and down the stairs. Small but HUGE when you're a solo traveler. The breakfast they offer for an extra charge (not a lot) was absolutely 💯 worth it. Best meal I had in Cheddar, and they proved gluten-free bread! 🙌🍞 As a solo traveler, I would 100% recommend staying at this location if you are visiting Cheddar.

Boasting garden views, Glastonbury Hideaway features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 43 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. Lovely super clean and cosy room with TV, private bathroom and a private terrace close to the city center in a quiet neighborhood.You can really come and go at your convenience as the little studio has his private entrance. There is everything you want : a little fridge, kettle, even some coffee/ tea, biscuits and 2 little jars of milk ( sweet ), hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo, UK plug adapter for your phone etc... I highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Located in Cheddar, The Old Police House is a recently renovated accommodation, 27 km from Ashton Court and 29 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. Accommodation was lovely, pub around the corner & not too far to main street, set in quiet street, so no street noise Lynn and her hubby were lovely, made sure we had everything (even home made chocolates & brownies) then left us too it. Breakfast was yummy, Lynn even gave us some additional spots to visit on our way down to Cornwall.
