The Lighthouse is a beautiful listed property offering 4-star accommodation near Frome, within the gently rolling Somerset countryside. The breakfast was excellent, you could choose from many options. We did not have the “30 minute breakfast slots” mentioned in the other reviews. We received a very friendly welcome, everything was fine. The rooms are large and spacious.

The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. It has fantastic atmosphere. it feels like traveling back in time!! We loved the breakfast!!

The Bower Inn is an 18th-century building, located just off the M5 motorway and 2 miles from Bridgwater town centre. It offers stylish rooms with luxury bathrooms and delicious homemade food. Everything! The staff were very friendly. Very comfortable atmosphere. The food was varied and flavourful.

Set in Cannington, The Priory provides a shared lounge. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. the facilities size of the room and the king size bed was super comfy

Located in Cheddar, Wassells House Accommodation is a recently renovated accommodation, 27 km from Ashton Court and 28 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. I felt very safe it was a 18-20 min walk into town. I enjoyed the room. The bathrooms were wonderful! After traveling for 2 weeks with terrible bathrooms and even black mold in one, this updated bathroom was HEAVEN. 🚽🚿 The host, while not obligated, offered and helped me with my suitcase up and down the stairs. Small but HUGE when you're a solo traveler. The breakfast they offer for an extra charge (not a lot) was absolutely 💯 worth it. Best meal I had in Cheddar, and they proved gluten-free bread! 🙌🍞 As a solo traveler, I would 100% recommend staying at this location if you are visiting Cheddar.

Boasting garden views, Glastonbury Hideaway features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 43 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. A place to unwind with a beautiful view, as the name of the accommodation also suggests, a little hideaway. Everything I needed was present, a comfortable warm bed, big cups of tea, silence, privacy and the owner's helpfulness when I needed it. I felt at home, it's definitely my favourite place when I'm in Glastonbury. Everything is nearby for sightseeing and to experience.

Boasting garden views, Wick House offers accommodation with patio, around 32 km from Dunster Castle. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Beautiful place on a beautiful countryside land. Comfortable beds ! And spacious room with some snacks available.

Situated in Frome, 14 km from Longleat Safari Park, Full Moon Inn Rudge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We stayed here for the night with my family of 5 and they were so accommodating! The food was so yummy and had great Gluten Free options for me! The room was so spacious and the bathroom was gorgeous. We loved the hot water bottles that were there too! Gorgeous village as well.

Located in Cheddar, The Old Police House is a recently renovated accommodation, 27 km from Ashton Court and 29 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. Accommodation was lovely, pub around the corner & not too far to main street, set in quiet street, so no street noise Lynn and her hubby were lovely, made sure we had everything (even home made chocolates & brownies) then left us too it. Breakfast was yummy, Lynn even gave us some additional spots to visit on our way down to Cornwall.
