The Lion at West Pennard is set in West Pennard, 5 km outside Glastonbury and 39 km from Bath. This 15th century pub, offers refurbished en suite room and log fires. Everything was very nice, clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast. I would reccomend.

The Lighthouse is a beautiful listed property offering 4-star accommodation near Frome, within the gently rolling Somerset countryside. The breakfast was excellent, you could choose from many options. We did not have the “30 minute breakfast slots” mentioned in the other reviews. We received a very friendly welcome, everything was fine. The rooms are large and spacious.

The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. What can I say. The property is sensationel, the food excellent - the beer as well and the staff are simply incredible, helpful, very friendly and competent without exception. I can‘t remember any experience like that and I do travel a lot. You simply feel at home there. Any time again. If it were possible I would allocate 10 points. Thanks

Set in Cannington, The Priory provides a shared lounge. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Tina is a great host kindly suggesting a route for our onward journey along the north Cornwall coast. The house has been beautifully restored and it was lovely to visit, wish we could have stayed longer!

Located in Cheddar, Wassells House Accommodation is a recently renovated accommodation, 26 km from Ashton Court and 28 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. I felt very safe it was a 18-20 min walk into town. I enjoyed the room. The bathrooms were wonderful! After traveling for 2 weeks with terrible bathrooms and even black mold in one, this updated bathroom was HEAVEN. 🚽🚿 The host, while not obligated, offered and helped me with my suitcase up and down the stairs. Small but HUGE when you're a solo traveler. The breakfast they offer for an extra charge (not a lot) was absolutely 💯 worth it. Best meal I had in Cheddar, and they proved gluten-free bread! 🙌🍞 As a solo traveler, I would 100% recommend staying at this location if you are visiting Cheddar.
