The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. The room was a great size and super clean. Loved the whole property and location. We sat out the back at table and chairs before dinner and the view is spectacular of the church and scenery. The people serving us for dinner were wonderful and very friendly (quite young) but made it enjoyable and we asked them questions of where to go in the area. Loved the stay here.

A lot of privacy in a spotless, comfortably appointed, quiet environment made this a very pleasant base from which to explore a lot of local features. Good parking.

The room was lovely and clean. Tea, coffee and a kitchenette if you required. Fantastic breakfast. Plenty of parking. Easy walk to town centre.
