Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. The breakfast and dinner are very sizable and super delicious. Especially love the Sri Lankan rice and curry served during dinner, best rice and curry I’ve had in Sri Lanka. Also really love the pool, one side faces the jungle and you can enjoy the sounds of nature and spot all kinds of animals running through the trees while you take a swim. The host is very attentive and makes an effort to satisfy your needs. He can help arrange safari tour and transportation to other regions as well.

EdenHaven cottage is most definitely a garden of Eden and a Haven from the rat race. the cottages are both modern and traditional with striking little artisan touches. the shower room is beautifully appointed. the outdoor private veranda was most relaxing, the lighting, natural teak wood floors and furniture are all the inspiration and imagination of a most hospitable and charming young man Anju. he couldn’t have arranged and done more for my husband and I. our breakfast, evening meals were varied, tasty and juicy. waking up to and settling into the evenings were harmonious, the garden produced the sounds of nature that send you to sleep and invite a new day. i can’t say enough about this open , warm, genuine family hospitality. i didn’t want you to leave. last but not least. my husband, Anju and his safari colleague Lasindu arranged to have my 61st birthday breakfast within the safari on top of a plateau overlooking the national park. cake , presents and a wonderful rendition of happy birthday could be heard by the whole national park… tearful and most privileged to have such attention to genuine detail. Anju and Lasindu and ian of course. thank you from the bottom of my heart for one of thee most memorable experiences.

Forest Edge Safari Villa ตั้งอยู่ในอุดาวาลาเว ห่างจากอุทยานแห่งชาติ Udawalawe National Park 16 กม. This is a hidden gem in the area. We travelled from Canada and decided to go by what other travellers had said and glad we stayed here. The staff found out it was our anniversary and went out of their way to decorate our room - a lovely touch. The place is clean, the room was pristine, the breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and we organized everything with them, it was probably the best thing we did. We’d go back.

La Casa Safari Resort อยู่ในอุดาวาลาเว ห่างจากอุทยานแห่งชาติ Udawalawe National Park 11 กม. The staff were amazing so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was so tasty. We were right in the jungle and it felt like a paradise. We were so close to both the safari and the elephant orphanage which they organized for us to go too. those young boys doing well.

Dasun, his family and friends are really nice people. They helped us to organise tha safari, the driver was also absolutely nice with us, we had a great trip. Dasun's mom made us always a huge and extremely good meal. The cottage was also really nice and comfortable. We absolutely recommend the place!:)

Silent River Cottage อยู่ในอุดาวาลาเว ห่างจากอุทยานแห่งชาติ Udawalawe National Park 16 กม. The place is relaxing and very homey feels like. The owner of the place is a couple and have done fantastic accommodation and services. The room was tidy, especially the bathroom. They serve delicious food for breakfast. Our whole 2 nights stay was well spent. Many thanks to Amila and family for treating us not just like guests but more of a family. 🥰

We had such a lovely stay at Yonan River Resort. Rajiva was so kind and helpful and the dinner and breakfast were both delicious. He also helped to organise a safari trip for us. Our room was comfortable with A/C, nice beds and hot showers and the location by the river was really beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Kuma Safari Lodge ตั้งอยู่ในอุดาวาลาเว ห่างจากอุทยานแห่งชาติ Udawalawe National Park 5.5 กม. Kuma and his wife were so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble! The room was exceptionally clean , spacious and well equipped with a lovely covered area to relax with a book. Home cooked food was delicious and plentiful. Kuma also organised us a fantastic safari at the close by Udawalawe Park with a great driver/guide who found us lots of different animals, plus he arranged a trip to the Elephant Transit home which coincided with the baby elephants being given their milk. A truly unforgettable stay, and excellent value for money. I would definitely return there.
