Located 14 km from Udawalawe National Park, EdenHaven Cottage offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.... Anju is really nice and very helpful. Dinner and breakfast were really good and made with fresh ingredients from the garden! He even went above and beyond to give us a extensive breakfast at 5am. The room was also very nice. Tours can also be done with him! I really recommend to stay here!

The owners were so lovely and kind. They provided us with a beautiful Sri lankan dinner and catered for one guest who does not like spicy food by making and individual curry just for her. Breakfast was also very good and they even supplied additional snacks for our child. The setting was beautiful and very peaceful and the beds were very comfortable. The place was great value for money and would definately recommend staying here!

Located within 16 km of Udawalawe National Park in Udawalawe, Forest Edge Safari Villa features accommodation with seating area. From the moment after the booking, Janith was very communicative. He was very welcoming after our arrival and was making sure we were comfortable until our departure. We organized a safari with him too and it was excellent. Janith's mum made us a home-cooked dinner for one of the evenings - it was plenty and so delicious! He also organized other dishes for our kids who are not (yet) fans of rice and curry. Breakfast was also plentiful and upon our request he organized egg hoppers for us because we have not tried it - THANK YOU! Janith's place is very private, at the moment he has two rooms that we booked so it was was just us. Janith and his family live in a house in front of the rooms, but the areas are well separated. Its so green and beautiful and clean. Behind it is a teak forest full of monkeys. From the big windows in the rooms we could watch the monkeys (and giant squirrels) playing around and on the trees. Just like watching TV!! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean. We slept really well in the nights we spent there - so serene. Thank you Janith for everything!

Our driver knew exactly how to go off the beaten tracks and to create a unique experience.

We had an excellent time staying at Silent River Cottage. Amila was incredibly helpful with organising a safari and providing advice on sites to visit in Udawalawe. Furthermore, make sure you have breakfast and dinner here. Nadeeka made the best food we had in Sri Lanka and did not skimp out on the portions! The immediate area surrounding River Cottage is exceptional, we viewed a peaceful Buddhist temple, saw over 300 Indian Flying Foxes fleeing the nest at sunset and enjoyed a refreshing swim in Amila’s river.

Located within 16 km of Udawalawe National Park in Udawalawe, Yonan River Face Safari Resort features accommodation with seating area. super location! you are in the middle of the jungle, you have your own house, very clean, hot water, a/c and fan, water, fridge. plus there is a lake where we could swim, and you could do fishing. it was like you are in your own village. only 2 houses and huge territory! we liked being alone!!! the owner arranged safary, tgen taxi to Hiriketiya and in the afternoon offered us curd, very delicious. thank you a lot for hospitality! if we go again, sure will stat here. excellent accomidation with best prices!!!
