Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. Really large spacious rooms with a lovely view of the forest feels very serene. Had dinner there every night, 2,000 LKR PP for a buffet style curry but it was 10/10, really tasty & convenient!! Close enough to everything in Udawalawe, not a whole lot to do other than the safari and the elephant transit home. Had to go to the hospital during our trip for rabies shot they helped us with tuktuk and a guide that helped for the most part whilst at the hospital.

The place is very cool and clean! At first the jungle around seems a bit scary, but you r absolutely safe there! The family that has the place is very kind, they show us their beautiful garden. Welcome drinks and breakfast were so nice! Wish them a good luck with their business! Don’t miss this place!

This Place is amazing and the cleanest place I’ve seen in Sri Lanka. He welcomed us with a coconut and we got traditional Sri Lankan Dinner. It was delicious! He also offers safaris and Ayurveda massages, which I can highly recommend. Apart from that he has a very nice garden and terrace.

Perfect location, beautiful place and great service. The best breakfast we had. We went on a 4 hrs safari organized by them and it was great. We also had monkeys visiting the terrace which was an additional attraction.

A super friendly and warm welcome, well suited to the needs and preferences of international travelers. Fantastic safari tour. sahan was an amazing driver! We were able to see many animals, including the amazing leopard and more elephants super close to us! Super recommended!

Dasoon is the best. He took care of my family as if we were his family. He arranged a great safari and coordinated taxis and logisics. The food we ate there was the best we had in Sri Lanka.

We stayed only for one night. The apartman and garden was good. They have chairs and hammocks in the garden, so you can check the peacock from there. The room was clean, working AC, working WIFI. We had a great dinner at the place for 1.600 rupees. We werent pushed to buy safari from them. They organised us a tuk-tuk to the sea for a reasonable price.

The place seems detached from the stories, very quiet, among the coconut trees, with a very beautiful yard that reaches the edge of a lake. You will see all kinds of creatures that will delight you. The owner is a man of incredible kindness and a great cook. He even helped us organize our safari trip.

Kuma and his wife were so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble! The room was exceptionally clean , spacious and well equipped with a lovely covered area to relax with a book. Home cooked food was delicious and plentiful. Kuma also organised us a fantastic safari at the close by Udawalawe Park with a great driver/guide who found us lots of different animals, plus he arranged a trip to the Elephant Transit home which coincided with the baby elephants being given their milk. A truly unforgettable stay, and excellent value for money. I would definitely return there.
