We booked the hut for two days with kids . It was private and beautiful and much better than the photos. The food was excellent and generous . They also provide safari wich was amazing with a lot of animals and additional time . We was even lucky and spotted a leopard. The hoke experience was very nice. We recommend the place and the safari guide.

Located in Udawalawe, 10 km from Udawalawe National Park, Forest Edge Safari Villa provides air-conditioned rooms and a garden. This is a hidden gem in the area. We travelled from Canada and decided to go by what other travellers had said and glad we stayed here. The staff found out it was our anniversary and went out of their way to decorate our room - a lovely touch. The place is clean, the room was pristine, the breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and we organized everything with them, it was probably the best thing we did. We’d go back.

It’s a beautiful property with amazing and very kind owners. The room was very clean and overall we slept very good. The breakfast is very traditional and it was amazing to try that out.

Set in Udawalawe, 16 km from Udawalawe National Park, Hasthi Safari Cottage features accommodation with a hot tub, spa facilities and wellness packages. The decor at this place was just on point, the bathroom outside, the lights in the room.. just really good. Dasun is super helpful, arranges safari, food, transportation, whatever you need! I already wish I could go back.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Kuma Safari Lodge is located in Udawalawe, 5.5 km from Udawalawe National Park. Kuma and his wife were so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble! The room was exceptionally clean , spacious and well equipped with a lovely covered area to relax with a book. Home cooked food was delicious and plentiful. Kuma also organised us a fantastic safari at the close by Udawalawe Park with a great driver/guide who found us lots of different animals, plus he arranged a trip to the Elephant Transit home which coincided with the baby elephants being given their milk. A truly unforgettable stay, and excellent value for money. I would definitely return there.

Very kind family. Nice view of elephants from balcony. Access to shop for snacks. Delicious food. All around terrific! Recommend to do their safari tour.
