Offering a garden and city view, Happy Island Miyako is situated in Miyako Island, 1.8 km from Painagama Beach and 3.4 km from Turiba Seaside Park. The host and team were very kind. It's a relatively small house in which the guests live together with the host and the staff. It's a family atmosphere between the host, the staff and the guests. We cooked together, made some trips and just went for dinner/drinking. Since I speak only a bit of Japanese there was some language barrier, since the host speaks only japanese. However, some of the guests could speak a bit of English and for the translation apps could be used. Nevertheless I never felt excluded.

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, Guesthouse Koa is located in Miyako Island, 700 metres from Sunayama Beach. This 2-star guest house offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. The BEST hostel we've ever been to. The owners are very nice - helped us with everything we need (helped us to book kayak lesson, restaurant reservation, and has all the gear needed for water activities..) The rooms are very comfortable, The hostel is SUPER clean (feels like a 5 star hotel) Really nice shared space, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, laundry room is very good. Their dog Iru is the cutest!! We would definitely come back. We enjoyed our stay so much and we are very sad to leave!!!! Big thank you from Israel :)

Located in Miyako Island and only 400 metres from Imgya Marine Garden, Private Resort Hotel RENN provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Renn san was super friendly, he provided valuable inputs for our snorkeling plans. I wish we stayed there 1-2 more nights to fully utilize his inputs! XD The facility has a great view of the night sky, if you happen to catch a good cloud-less weather while you are there, you would be able to enjoy a good view of the Milky Way!

Sony and his wife were very gracious hosts and have done a great job at cultivating a true sense of community among guests and staff. The snorkeling trip was a lot of fun as were the dinners and drinks in the evening.

This place is super clean and everything is properly labeled for foreigners. Host is super helpful and kind! Location is about 20 mins from the city/downtown area so if you are looking for a place to stay with calm vibe, this place is a must :) I also recommend renting a car although there are buses/taxis available.

Feels like grandparents home, really comforting vibe and get to know Japanese rural side of housing. I loved it and definitely planning to come back and stay here again! Great location, staff was so nice! They have parkings!
