Nice staff and a very warm-hearted owner who is eager to help the guests. Open-air rooftop where you can feel the cool breeze. Offer everything with kitchen and bathroom stuff. Just bring your towel and a happy attitude. I took the buses from the beach to the other beach. I didn't bring an International driver's license, so no car for me. I could rent an electric bike, but I would rather sit on the air-conditioning buses. All the beaches in Miyako Jima are good, so taking buses close to any beach was not a problem. And this hostel is very close to the bus stop which goes to the airport also. Google map bus schedule is up to date, so you can trust that and just give and take 5-7min. I will miss this place for sure. I attached the food photo which the owner cooked for the guest that he caught on that day and the beach is 25 min walk from the hostel.

Private Resort Hotel RENN se encuentra a solo 2,6 km de Playa Shigira y ofrece alojamiento en Isla Miyako con jardín y terraza, además de servicio de conserjería. Renn san was super friendly, he provided valuable inputs for our snorkeling plans. I wish we stayed there 1-2 more nights to fully utilize his inputs! XD The facility has a great view of the night sky, if you happen to catch a good cloud-less weather while you are there, you would be able to enjoy a good view of the Milky Way!

This place is super clean and everything is properly labeled for foreigners. Host is super helpful and kind! Location is about 20 mins from the city/downtown area so if you are looking for a place to stay with calm vibe, this place is a must :) I also recommend renting a car although there are buses/taxis available.

Big and comfortable facilities as well as lounge area on ground floor and first floor. Good and comfortable bed. Big spaces in shower. Close to grocery and restaurants. The owner helped me to schedule a tour on the island by my self and allowed to store my luggage before check in. Excellent host.

Good value for money, there's share kitchen you can cook your own food and fridge. They have stay-in admins to provide guidance. Cleaning staffs does daily cleaning. As close as you can get to the city center and to all the beaches with car.
